Dear Ms Uchitani -
Greetings from the UK!
I am really enjoying your YouTube videos on Japanese culture and way of life - I have found them very interesting and thought-provoking.
I was a little bit curious about your Haiku - and wondered what rules you felt there were in composing them? Do you regard the 'five syllables, followed by seven, followed by five' rule as a
suggestion rather than a strict law? I notice your excellent haiku don't strictly follow that system and I wondered what your thoughts were on it.
Keep up the good work!
Kind regards
Neil Brown
